It began in 1992, when our father built a wholesale and distribution business in Mauritius — trading with determination, earning trust one customer at a time. That spirit carried the family across the Indian Ocean: into manufacturing and wholesaling in Mumbai, then to the vibrant fairs and exhibitions of Trinidad & Tobago, and finally to South Africa, where it all started again — wholesaling eastern wear on a small scale.
His sons joined him, one after the other. Together, the family took Bold & Beautiful to exhibitions and fairs across South Africa — setting up stalls, meeting families, learning exactly what South Africans wanted from their ethnic wear. Those fairgrounds taught us everything: quality matters, price matters, but trust matters most.
That trust built our first store in Chatsworth. Then Phoenix. Today, Bold & Beautiful stands as South Africa's leading ethnic fashion emporium with stores across KwaZulu-Natal and Gauteng — and true to our roots, you'll still find us at fairs and exhibitions around the country all year round.
